Transportation and logistics
Stavanger has excellent air, sea, road and rail connections. If you come from far you can take the plane and land at Sola airport, take the ferry from Denmark, take the train from almost anywhere in the country directly to the city center or take the car and arrive via the highway (E39).
During the event, various options will be available to go from Stavanger to the start line and back at the end of the day.

How to come to Stavanger?
Airport
Sola Airport is located only 13km away from Stavanger city center and has good bus and taxi services.
Ferry
Fjordline has daily direct service from Denmark to Stavanger.
Train
Stavanger train station is located right in the center of the city. From there it takes approximately 3 minutes to walk to two of the hotels we have deals with (Skagen Brygge and Comfort).
Transport information regarding the 1st stage
Bike
It’s a short ride from Stavanger to the start at Sverd i fjell. Follow the bike paths.
Car
There will be parking options near the start/finish.
Transport information regarding the 2nd stage
Ferry
It is possible to book transport by ferry to the start of the 2nd stage in Lysebotn. The ferry will leave from Stavanger (Fiskepiren) and pass by Lauvvik.
Departure from Stavanger at 7:30am. Please arrive in advance (the boat will leave at 7:30 sharp). Departure from Lauvvik at 7:50am. Arrival in Lysebotn at approx. 9:15am.
Car
It is allowed to be dropped by car in Lysebotn (by its own means). All cars must leave the start area well before the start of the stage.
Train
There are trains going from Sandnes for the ones who do not want to go back by bike after the stage (tickets must be purchased at the station).
Transport information regarding the 3rd stage
Bike
It’s a 20km ride from Stavanger to the start at Håland skole.
Car
There will be parking options near the start/finish. The stage is only a 20-minute drive away from the city center of Stavanger.
